ABOUT US

The Isle of Media is the national development agency for the thriving Isle of Man video, television and film sector. Set up as a not-for-profit Public Private Partnership with the Isle of Man Government to drive inward investment in Digital Media and foster the indigenous industry and talent, we provide pro-bono advice to develop media projects on the Isle of Man.

We promote the Island’s excellent capabilities in financing and growing media ventures, its stunning filming locations, its exceptional talent and world class telecommunications infrastructure; we support and attract the whole industry supply chain: production, post-production, global distributors, ad agencies, consultancies, OTT operators and satellite broadcasters.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented and organised individual with passion for digital media and desire to support us in our journey to drive inward investment within the media sector on the Isle of Man and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the Island through their work.

The ideal person will be a confident individual with the ability to work independently, ideally with excellent Copywriting, Digital Marketing and Event management skills and a gift for developing and nurturing relationships with people, clients and stakeholders.

ROLE

As part of a team plan, create and edit anything and everything, interviews, press releases, marketing materials, website content and social media updates
Coordinate key influencers from business and media world
Work with the team execute global events
Support the wider team with general business tasks, coordination and any other tasks commensurate with the role

YOU WILL HAVE

Self-motivated, happy to work within a small dynamic team
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong copywriting skills
Experience in working with ambitious and creative environments
Consistently create high-quality and original content
Can work independently and take full responsibility for your work, but also be a team player
Experience producing and editing content across a range of digital and non-digital channels
Experience with planning and managing social media and PR
