A sea-going shooting researcher with substantial experience filming extreme environments, my passion is the wild, and the people and animals that inhabit wild places.

I hold an M.Sc. in Evolutionary and Behavioural Ecology and have a particular interest in animal behaviour as well as maritime history and exploration. A competent sailor, RIB skipper and PADI-certified diver, I hold a commercially-endorsed powerboat licence for vessels up to 80 tonnes and dual British/Canadian citizenship. Self-shooting, proficient with Sony EX-3, PMW-500, 200 and 100, Canon XF305, 105 and 100, as well as Nikon and Canon DSLRs and GoPro rigging. Comfortable assembling 'on the fly' (and on a boat) on both AVID and Final Cut X.
