Knockaloe is a large farm area, used during WWI as an internment camp by the British Army to situate foreign nationals living in Britain. Austrian dancer and gymnast Josef Pilates developed his world-famous Pilates system whilst he was interned at Knockaloe.
The most recent production to film at the farm was Rocket's Island (CBBC) in 2012.
There are several self-catering cottages available at the site. Visit http://knockaloebegfarm.com/
