Owd Bob will be showing at Waterloo Methodist Church in Ramsey at 7.30pm, tomorrow night, 25th February 2005.
Mistress of Spices has just started filming at Island Studios and is being directed by Paul Berges and Gurinder Chadra, the directors of Bend it Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice. It is based on the book by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni of the same name.
Meanwhile, Keeping Mum is expected to start filming on the Island in early March and stars Rowan Atkinson, Maggie Smith and Patrick Swayze.
Sons and Lovers, the adaptation of the D H Lawrence novel of the same name, is showing on Sky Movies 1 at 4pm on Thursday 10th February and Sky Movies 2 on Friday 11th February at 5pm.

“Relative Values” is being shown in Ramsey at Waterloo Methodist Hall tonight at 7.30pm. Entrance is free but donations can be made to The Ramsey Cottage Hospital League of Friends. No booking is necessary, please turn up on the night.
The Minister for the Department of Trade & Industry, Alex Downie has confirmed that there will be no further collaboration with Granada Television on the drama series Island At War.
“Although the series was very popular and was pulling in an average of 5 million viewers per episode, ITV has a number of Second World War drama projects in hand or under consideration” said Mr Downie. “We will be working with ITV again on future projects, as well as collaborating with the BBC drama and film departments on a variety of other material.”
