All the Little Animals (1997)

A contemporary thriller about betrayal, revenge and redemption in which Bobby (Bale), part-man part-child, faces dispossession and death at the hands of his stepfather (Benzali).
He escapes into the protection of an eccentric recluse (Hurt) and a new way of life in the English countryside. The film charts his passage to manhood and his eventual bitter-sweet revenge.
