Impact (2001)

When American Air Vista Flight 236 crashes on UK soil, it proves no ordinary investigation for Marcus Hodge, Senior AAIB Investigator. His estranged daughter, Angel, had called to say she was arriving from Kentucky, on that very flight, but with her name seemingly missing from the passenger list all seems well. Marcus, Gaynor and Phil continue their analysis of the wreckage.

The discovery of an unidentifiable passenger and a forensic examination puts Angel back on the flight.. Not only that but the cause of the disaster appears to be a bomb. It seems obvious then that Angel was the mule, carrying the bomb for terrorists who have now claimed responsibility. As a result, Marcus is taken off the case but refuses to believe that Angel could be responsible or indeed that the bomb was the absolute cause of the crash - but what or who else could it be?
