The Rotters’ Club (2004)

Set in the 1970s, Birmingham schoolboy and aspiring musician Benjamin lusts after impossibly gorgeous Cicely Boyd and conceals his nascent Christianity (God helped him find his swimming trunks) from the world. But as Benjamin and his three best friends – anarchic jokester Sean Harding, class warrior Doug Anderton and prog-rock lover Philip Chase – grow up, they inevitably find themselves, and the world around them, begin to change.
