Island At War, the TV production filmed by Granada on the Island last year, is due to be screened from 11 July on ITV, with six episodes in total. The production, which was mostly shot in Castletown, is based on the fictional Island of St Gregory during the Second World war.
Our next production will be a television production based on the book written by Thomas Hughes. Filming on the Island should commence on 10th May. Filming on The Libertine has now finished and the crew have left the Island.
As filming comes to a close on The Libertine, various articles have appeared in the press. The Times and The Independent have both released articles relating to the Island and filming.
The Second Quest was fifth out of this week’s most viewed programmes, with an audience of 7.7 million.

The Quest II will be shown on Monday 5th April on ITV at 9pm. It is directed by and stars David Jason. Also showing on TV is The Legend of the Tamworth Two which is due to be screened on Easter Monday (12th April) at 6.30pm on BBC1.

The UK release date for Suzie Gold has been announced as the 5th March 2004. The film stars Summer Phoenix and was filmed at Island Studios in Ramsey.
Isle of Man Film, production company Mr. Mudd and First Choice Films, the equity film partnership, have agreed terms to co-finance the feature film The Libertine enabling the UK shoot to go ahead as planned next week. The film which stars Johnny Depp, John Malkovich and Samantha Morton will shoot on the Isle of Man in April. The Libertine faced the prospect of immediate closure and the loss of 150 crew jobs following the announcement on 10th February of UK government changes in the tax laws.
